What you need:

Card: ivory 12.5 x 12.5 cm, red 13 x 26 cm;

Strips of fabrics: 3 x 32 cm in dark red, red and salmon-pink; gloss fabric gold 3 x 3 cm; Fleece L11 or magic paper: 13 x 13 cm; Embroidery thread

How to work

Draw the pattern with numbers on the fleece. Cover on the backside the triangle in the middle with glossy gold. Fix it with pins on the sewing lines.

* Fix 4 cm stripe fabric dark red with the right side on the golden triangle with a pin on the sewing line from section 1. Turn to the other side of the fleece and sew together with fabric gold. Turn again, unfold fabric dark red and fix with a pin on the next sewing line.

Fix 4 cm stripe fabric red with the right side on the golden triangle with a pin on the sewing line from section 2. Turn to the other side of the fleece and sew together with fabric gold. Turn again, unfold fabric dark red and fix with a pin on the next sewing line.

Fix 4 cm stripe fabric salmon-pink with the right side on the golden triangle with a pin on the sewing line from section 3. Turn to the other side of the fleece and sew together with fabric gold. Turn again, unfold fabric dark red and fix with a pin on the next sewing line. First round is finished!

Repeat from * with longer stripes of fabric and use the same order of colours.

After section 12: sew a little outof the sewing lines the last stripes of fabric onto the fleece. Cut out the heart with 0.75 cm extra seam.

Cut the heart, black line, out of the middle of ivory card. Pierce all holes. Place the card on your quilted heart and fix with small pieces of tape on the backside of the card. Embroider the heart into the card.

Make dubblesided tape to the edges on the backside of the ivory card and fix it on the frontside of the folded red card.
